Nava artists’ exhibition. A visual treat for art connoisseurs unfolded at the three-day group art show at Aakriti Art Gallery on Saturday. As many as sixty-five themed paintings of more than twenty-one artists were displayed at the exhibition of NAVA, an artists’ group.

A visual treat for art connoisseurs unfolded at the three-day group art show at Aakriti Art Gallery on Saturday. As many as sixty-five themed paintings of more than twenty-one artists were displayed at the exhibition of NAVA, an artists’ group. Nine of the artists are women who portrayed nature, landscapes, Gods and Goddesses.

The art works on display at the expo included landscapes, still art, visualisation, modern, abstract, realism and other forms, which were richly depicted in an array of colours. Speaking at the inaugural function of the group art show, veteran journalist Turlapati Kutumba Rao underlined the need to revive the Fine Arts Academy in the state to promote arts.

He appreciated NAVA for its initiative in organising the group art show to encourage budding artists. AVS Ramesh, convener of NAVA, Kolasani Tulasi Vishnu Prasad, president of Sri Ajantha Kalaramam, Tenali, artist R Giridhar and others were present.
