The sight of men urinating on roadside may soon be a thing of the past as the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is planning to install 200 pre-fabricated toilets at every half a km in the city. In the first phase, the toilets will come up in 200 places in different parts of the city.
The sight of men urinating on roadside may soon be a thing of the past as the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is planning to install 200 pre-fabricated toilets at every half a km in the city. In the first phase, the toilets will come up in 200 places in different parts of the city.
The toilet will be in three-four meter area and will be developed with facilities for both men as well as women. In all, the toilets will come up in 1,000 places. This toilet is made up of fibre body and the wash basins are of stainless steel.
GHMC is planning to take up this activity through various advertisements and in the first phase 50 toilets are being planned for each zone. About 25 places have been identified in each circle.
