Dr Sridhar Reddy on Thursday said, “The trust has been implementing several programmes for the rehabilitation of street children in the city for the past 27 years. As of now, it is running rehabilitation homes for street children at Gandhinagar and Bhavanipuram and another one near Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur district.”

“The inmate strength of rehabilitation homes is 250. The trust is providing education to the street children as part of the rehabilitation project. It also accepts donations from philanthropists and service organisations in kind. People who want to donate essential commodities, can hand over them to the SKCV Trust office at Gandhinagar,” he added.
