The pride one experiences on Independence Day, as one witnesses the hoisting of the national flag and singing of national anthem, is sacred to every Indian. However, other than school students, few government employees and politicians, most of us don’t get to be a part of the ceremony.
Trendyworks has launched the ‘FamilyApp’, which now makes it possible for everyone to recreate the emotional bond and patriotic fervour with our country. With the ‘Independence Day Flag Hoisting’ feature one can experience the unfurling of the tri-colour from anywhere in the world in a single click.
The app, which is available on Google Play, allows users to hoist the flag with the voice command ‘Jai Hind’. The flag unfurls to a resounding tune of the national anthem with lyrics provided in ten languages i.e. English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada and Oriya so that you can sing along. You can also click a selfie with the flag and share it on social media.
Commenting on the app, Neeraj Jewalkar, founder, Trendyworks said, “With Independence Day around the corner we decided to launch the app as a tribute to the nation and enable people to reconnect to their Indian roots.
