Employees of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGB) celebrated the 60th Foundation Day at their premises on Friday, in Rajahmundry. Debasis Sanyal, Executive Director -Asset Manager, led the teams who devoted themselves to commit to nation's energy security through diligent service.

Addressing the employees, Sanyal informed that ONGC has been making giant strides since its inception in 1956, in the field of oil and gas exploration and production. “ONGC is committed to produce more oil and gas and reduce the import dependence by 10 per cent, as envisioned by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi,” he said.
In addition, he exhorted the employees to exceed their benchmarks of excellence and pursue for perfection in energy operations. Floral tributes were paid to the Martyrs Column of ONGC employees who sacrificed their lives for the cause of energy security while on duty.
