Fancy dress contest reflects patriotic spirit. As many as 85 students participated in a fancy dress competition on national leaders organised by the Gandhian Studies Centre of Sri YN College at Narsapur on Thursday to mark the 69th Independence Day.
As many as 85 students participated in a fancy dress competition on national leaders organised by the Gandhian Studies Centre of Sri YN College at Narsapur on Thursday to mark the 69th Independence Day. The drawing contest on `Gandhian Principles for World Peace’ was held at the college on Wednesday, which also evoked good response from students.

Speaking after inaugurating the fancy dress competition, college principal KVCS Appa Rao exhorted students to strive for nation building by taking inspiration from freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for bringing Independence to the country from the British rule. Prof D Venkateswara Rao, Director of Gandhian Studies Centre, said the drawing and fancy dress competitions were organised to inculcate patriotic spirit among students.
