In addition, BSF (Border Security Force) personnel joined the ride to commemorate its Golden Jubilee celebrations and pledged to support eight para-athletes from different parts of India. Aditya Mehta played vital role by completing the entire ride with only one leg; he did not use his prosthetic.

Celebs and prominent citizens led by Regina Cassandra, Tejaswi Madiwada, Sanjana and Mansi Gulati, felicitated the riders comprising of 30 BSF personnel and 30 riders from Aditya Mehta Foundation at a Grand reception on Saturday at Inorbit Mall.

“After I met Aditya Mehta there is something about the cause that really moved me. Infect, in our country we didn’t have much awareness about people with disabilities,” said Regina Cassandra, who rode 150 km at the event.

“Absolute apathy towards para-athletes on the part of corporates, Governments, NGOs, individual philanthropists, moved me and spurred me to build awareness about my fellow para-athletes' special needs,” said Aditya Mehta. “Through my foundation - Aditya Mehta Foundation, I have been working towards the cause of para-athletes and this ride was to reinforce the cause,” he added.
