Girls inspired to achieve

The Department of Biochemistry of SDM Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala organised a guest lecture on the topic ‘Biochemistry-Is this Life?’ on Monday. In his speech, S Vijaya Saradhi, guest lecturer, said that research and Biochemistry allows one to study and understand the physiology of living organisms, cell organs and organ system works and major Biomolecules.

He gave an insight into research based on Microbial analysis, Biochemical analysis, photochemical analysis and medicinal properties. Later Saradhi asked students to believe in themselves before they get carried away by material thoughts in order to achieve their goals.

He appreciated the efforts of girls who are pursuing higher education and asked them to work harder for success. Principal T Vijaya Lakshmi, Biochemistry faculty, Sultanate of Oman and others were present.
