KRU VC cautions seniors against crossing limits. Students of Nalanda Degree College celebrated Freshers’ Day with gaiety and pomp at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram, on Tuesday.

College correspondent, A Vijaya Babu, said the Freshers’ Day celebrations were organised to provide a platform for friendly interaction between seniors and juniors.

These celebrations would also help juniors shed their inhibitions and get accustomed to the new college environment. Krishna University (KRU) Vice-Chancellor, D Suryachandra Rao, exhorted students to develop good habits apart from gaining knowledge during their studies.

“Students should not cross their limits in the name of ragging, which have assumed the proportion of a major social evil now,” he said. Degree college principal M Anuradha and other faculty members were present.
