A picture is worth a thousand words. On the occasion of World Photography Day, Kandukuri Ramesh Babu showcased his photographic work in a show titled ‘Single Exhibit Show’ at Ailamma Art Gallery in Baghlingampally on Tuesday.Adviser to Telangana Government K V Ramana Chary, Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana and eminent photo journalist Bharath Bhushan were the chief guests for the event.

On the occasion of World Photography Day, Kandukuri Ramesh Babu showcased his photographic work in a show titled ‘Single Exhibit Show’ at Ailamma Art Gallery in Baghlingampally on Tuesday.Adviser to Telangana Government K V Ramana Chary, Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana and eminent photo journalist Bharath Bhushan were the chief guests for the event.


“I’m really happy for his work. He portrayed the common man way of life very well,” K V Ramana said. Speaking about his picture Ramesh Babu said, “When I was on my way to work at Panjagutta Circle, I saw one ‘Garadi’ (Magician) along with his wife performing on the street. His wife stood on his head to attract people to earn money.


That time I captured this photo and later I found that it has many meanings. This photo clearly explains about husband and wife both struggling for the survival of family.” Ramesh Babu is a journalist and photographer by passion. He has written 12 books in 2003. He started Samanya Shastram, a community publishing house with friends. All his works are based on lives of unsung heroes and the values for which they strive despite odds.
