Youngistan rocks at HCW debut show. The first edition of ‘Hyderabad Couture Week’ (HCW), at Jubilee Hills International Club, gave a boost to the city’s fashion industry. Designers including Manali Rathode, D’mello from Paris, Jitendra Chauhan from Jade Blue and Ashwini Reddy showcased their creations on day one.

Designers including Manali Rathode, D’mello from Paris, Jitendra Chauhan from Jade Blue and Ashwini Reddy showcased their creations on day one. Actresses Tejaswi Madivada, Shamili, Jyothi Sethi, Nandini Rai and others walked the ramp for Ashwini Reddy.
On day two, designers Sumit Das Gupta, Sangamitra, brand Jade Blue showcased their creations. Mumbai-based designer, Pranjal Kadkade, said, “I have done many shows in Hyderabad but this is the first time I am attending a fashion show here. I am happy with HCW.” The event, which began on Friday, is an opportune platform for budding and creative fashion designers.
