The latest reports states that the company is ready to try its luck in the Indian smartphones markets now after sweeping Europeans off their feet with their awe-inspiring technology earlier in 2015 in the form of their release of Aquaris smartphones line-up.

Ubuntu, an open-source Linux OS structured by a British company named Canonical whose VP seems to be extremely excited about the idea of making their Ubuntu phones available to larger part of the world, can easily support not only smartphones, tablets and PCs but also servers and Cloud.

The company’s Chief Operating Officer, the launch of Aquaris E4.5 and Aquaris E5 and their great success in Europe made them realize the emerging need of Ubuntu smartphones in India as well and how Indian market can benefit them immensely for they have experienced a flourishing business in the realm of PCs here.

In terms of Aquaris E4.5 specifications, it is estimated that this dual flash, dual SIM phone, with sleek black body will be running 1.3GHz MediaTek Quad Core Cortex- A7 processor, 8MP back and 5MP front camera, 1GB RAM, 8 GB storage capacity extendable up to 32GB and a 2,150 mAh battery that would certainly win over the hearts of many technology lovers.

And the Aquaris E5 would make remarkable place in people’s hearts and hands with yet more interesting features in addition to E4.5’s like 5” display flaunting latest IPS HD technology with Dragontrail protection, quick start screen with resolution as high as 720 x 1280p, back and front cameras with 13MP and 5MP respectively, 16GB ROM and super powerful battery of 2,500 mAh.
