Regional meeting of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan

The annual principals’ meeting of the Kendriya Vidyalaya of Hyderabad region assembled for the first time in the city, on Monday. The regional meeting saw about 45 principals of various branches spread across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana under a roof to discuss on developmental aspects of academics.

The internal meeting for the principals focused on how to improve the curriculum of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and also discussed the problems faced by the teachers. Besides, reviewing last academic year’s result and performance, the meeting paved way for new challenges and targets that they set out for themselves to achieve for the current academic year.

Deputy Commissioner of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, D Manivannan, said that they have achieved a pass percentage of 92 per cent from 51 schools under the region, which is higher in the country.

The principals brainstormed to decide on the plan of action to enhance the performance of both teachers and students in the schools. Debates and discussions on topics relating to the curriculum were held. Over 40,000 students attend schools run by Kendriya Vidyalaya across the two states.
