Foundation plaque at Christian Bhavan goes missing
Leaders from the Christian community were in for a rude shock as the foundation stone plaque for the Christian Bhavan in Mahindra Hills, laid by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, went missing. KCR had allocated land for developing a Christian Bhavan at a cost of Rs 10 crore on the lines of Adivasi Bhavan and Banjara Bhavan.
Leaders from the Christian community were in for a rude shock as the foundation stone plaque for the Christian Bhavan in Mahindra Hills, laid by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, went missing. KCR had allocated land for developing a Christian Bhavan at a cost of Rs 10 crore on the lines of Adivasi Bhavan and Banjara Bhavan.
The chief minister had laid the foundation stone for the bhavan on December 23, 2014. However due to disputes regarding ownership of the land, development work could not be taken up. A stay order on the construction of the institution was sought and the matter is sub-judice.
The community leaders lodged a complaint to Marredpally Mandal Revenue Officer Saidulu who in turn lodged a complaint with the Tukaram Police.
