Prerana Youth Fest from today. The month-long `Prerana Youth Fest 2015’ of Rotary Club of Vijayawada will begin on Friday. The inaugural function will be held at Hotel Ilapuram.
The month-long `Prerana Youth Fest 2015’ of Rotary Club of Vijayawada will begin on Friday. The inaugural function will be held at Hotel Ilapuram. Club president MV Suresh Kumar said the festival is meant to motivate youth to actively take part in social service activities and nation building.
Many cultural and literary programmes will be organised during the festival. Competitions in handwriting, singing, speed painting, face painting, debating, chess, tennis and other sports for students will be held. Matrubhasha Madhuri, music and dance concerts, Radio Jockey Tho Kasepu and other events are also part of the festival.
Prizes to the winners of competitions will be given away at the valedictory of the festival on September 25. Youth Festival directors NSRK Prasad, K Jagadeesh Kumar and S Venkateswarlu and club secretary D Naveen were also present on the occasion.
