SBH launches PMJDY scheme
Thirty-six people have been sanctioned loans recently, under the Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana Overdraft (PMJDY-OD), by the State Bank of Hyderabad, Malakpet. General Manager (Financial Inclusion) of the branch, Ajoy Naqib, explained the advantages of the facility.

“It is beneficial to everyone, particularly small traders, vendors, hawkers and self-employed people who usually depend on private money lenders for their fund requirements, which they get a high interest rates,” he said. “Under this scheme the interest works out to just 3 paise per day,” he added.
He handed over sanction letters to eligible PMJDY account holders and urged them to utilise the loan for business purposes and improve their earnings. Chief Manager I Murali Krishna and Assistant General Manager Veeraselchar also spoke on the occasion.
