About 150 students from different schools and colleges participated in a painting competition as part of the National Eye Donation Fortnight, on Friday. The theme of the contest for schoolchildren was ‘Beauty of Nature’, while college students were given the topic ‘Beauty of River Krishna’.
Prizes will be given away to winners of the competition at the valedictory of Eye Donation Fortnight on September 8. The competition was organised by Swetcha Gora Eye Bank and Vasavya Mahila Mandali at the VMM Silver Jubilee Hall. Swetcha Gora Eye Bank executive director Dr G Samaram and others were present.
