Addressing a gathering of Hajj pilgrims at the Al Meezan Tours and Travels, at Banjara Function Hall, the Deputy Chief Minister said, "We will try to provide free medication to pilgrims in collaboration with central government. Schemes and provision for more facilities will be worked out before next year."


Mahmood Ali also asked the pilgrims to pray for the growth and development of Telangana. “Where you are going is a Holy place, a place where prayers are quickly answered. So, pray for our new young state, its growth and development," he said. This year, 2150 pilgrims will be travelling through private tour operators from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.


A total of 36,000 Hajis are travelling Saudi Arabia to perform the pilgrimage of Hajj through 533 tour operators. Hafez Mohammed Faiyaz Ali Managing Director of Al Mizaan Haj-o-umrah group and Al-Haj Mohammed Yousuf Ali were present at the free training camp for Hajis.
