Speakers that included U Ramamohan, SP (CID)-Cyber Crimes, Hyderabad, Justice Yathirajulu, former Chairman, APAT, B Ramakotaiah, IRS, Accountant Member, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Ashok Ramkumar, Advocate, IP Markets, Avaneesh N, Advocate, Prof. (Dr.) A V Narsimha Rao, Prof. M Annapurna of ICFAI Law School spoke at the sessions and also took part in discussions.


Justice L Narasimha Reddy inaugurated the seminar and delivered the key note address. “Technology is developing and we have to step up legal infrastructure to tackle the judicial issues. Necessary legislatures have to be made and Government has taken up the task of connectivity to rural areas so that the benefit of the Information Technology reaches the rural population,” said Reddy.


He also stated that the judicial functioning is undergoing revolutionary changes. “Cyber law dynamics is a crucial part of the digital world,” he said and advised students to equip with the latest developments in the Cyber Laws. He briefed the students about implications of social media, internet, and cyber crimes.


The event was presided by Prof. J Mahender Reddy, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University, who highlighted the current issues of Cyber Crimes and said the need for such seminars will help cross-pollinating ideas to augment the body of nowledge.
