Turning drivers into entrepreneurs. More than 70 cabs were handed over to the drivers, who have completed 730 days in the ‘driver cum ownership’ scheme launched by Sky Cabs, on Saturday.

More than 70 cabs were handed over to the drivers, who have completed 730 days in the ‘driver cum ownership’ scheme launched by Sky Cabs, on Saturday. Member of Parliament (Medak Constituency) Kotha Prabhakar Reddy presented the first key to the driver and appreciated the efforts of Sky Cab.
Later, the MP handed over the Certificate of Appreciation to the drivers of the cabs. Speaking on the occasion, Director of Sky Cabs, Karrar Ahmed, said “This is the promise, which is being delivered.
At the start of this scheme we promised cab drivers of gifting them with the car if they drive it regularly for 730 Days, and here we are fulfilling the promise.” Karrar informed that the first batch of 75 cabs is being delivered and more than 200 cabs will be handed over in next two phases.
Providing the details of the scheme, he said, “The scheme was started to benefit the Driver Community. With this scheme, drivers can own the car and make use of it as their own taxi.”
Sky Cabs also provides other benefits like housing, stationary and education help to the drivers and their wards, thus being the only Taxi Rental service to take care of all important factors, which benefits drivers.
