Apple Rose Chicken earns Vantinti Maharani crown
More than 100 women participated in the ‘Naturralle Vantini Maharani of Vijayawada’ contest, at NAC Function Hall, on Saturday. The contest was organised by Saraiwwalaa Agrr Refineries Limited (SARL). Women prepared special recipes and sub and presented them with garnish and ad-ons.

Yasaswini Peddi was crowned ‘Vantinti Maharani’ for her dish 'Apple Rose Chicken', and bagged Rs 11, 000 cash prize. The second and third prize winners got Rs 5,100 each and gold coins were presented to 44 winners. Chicken sajji, milk halwa, brinjal dry fruit curry, sprouts vegetable cutlet and aloo semya bonda were some of the delicacies prepared by the contestants.
The contest was preceded by a cookery workshop conducted by renowned chef Sanjay Thumma. Thumma gave useful cooking tips to the participants and demonstrated a few of his most popular recipes and demonstrated on how to prepare crunchy and healthy vegetable snacks for children.
Women took the opportunity to enhance their culinary skills and got their doubts cleared by Thumma, popular for his YouTube cookery show. Naturralle Refined Sunflower Oil General Manager Sales and Marketing KS Rao and others were present.
