Yoga workshop a hit. Residents of Sanskruti Township at Ghatkesar turned up in huge numbers for the one-day yoga campaign organised by HMTV along with The Hans India, in association with home health service provider, ‘Nightingales’, on Sunday.

Residents of Sanskruti Township at Ghatkesar turned up in huge numbers for the one-day yoga campaign organised by HMTV along with The Hans India, in association with home health service provider, ‘Nightingales’, on Sunday.

The mass yoga session evoked enthusiastic response from the people. "We would like to thank The Hans India for conducting such a wonderful programme", said B Hari Prasad Rao, president of Sanskruti Township.

Mohan, yoga instructor, who conducted classes during the workshop said, “Breathing is important in Yoga. There are about 3,000 asanas and we perform most of them unknowingly in a day.”

With this workshop, HMTV aims to encourage residents to translate the practice of yoga into a way of life, with the overall intent of enabling them achieve spiritual harmony and lead healthy lives.

"We weren't aware of what to expect, so walked in with an open mind and felt pleased with the whole process. Everything led to a peaceful mind and a blessed feeling," said M Kumar, executive member of the township.

Meanwhile, a free medical camp was organised by the Nightingales after the yoga session. “To provide a supporting hand to the elderly, we regularly conduct free check up camps,” said D Shiva Prasad, sales manager with Nightingales.
