Cool Blues lift the USHA Hyderabad HAT 2015 trophy. Cool Blues claimed victory and lifted the ‘Usha Hyderabad HAT 2015’ trophy on Sunday at the three-day ‘USHA Hyderabad Ultimate’ HAT tournament held at BSR Cricket Ground and Prasad Cricket Ground at Nagole.
Cool Blues claimed victory and lifted the ‘Usha Hyderabad HAT 2015’ trophy on Sunday at the three-day ‘USHA Hyderabad Ultimate’ HAT tournament held at BSR Cricket Ground and Prasad Cricket Ground at Nagole.
This tournament, which began on Friday, was an encouragement to women for an equal opportunity in the field of sports. Up to 330 players in 24 teams participated in the tournament across country.
Speaking about the event, Komal Mehra, Head Events, Usha International said, “This collaboration is a part of Usha’s larger effort in promoting sports and engaging with the young audiences. Today, Ultimate has established itself as a global sport with the international Olympic association recognising the sport. It blends perfectly with the Usha brand ethos ‘Play’.”
Along with the sponsoring the Hyderabad Ultimate Open’15, Usha would also be organising a two-month ultimate frisbee workshop programme for Usha employees and their children at the Hyderabad premises. Usha has been actively involved in uplifting sports talent in India. For over 25 years, Usha has supported the Mawana Marathon and the Ladies, Amateur and Junior Golf.
