The grand finale for the first season of the national level ‘Hyderabad Dance Premier League’ (HDPL) on Sunday presented a night of dance, masti and pomp at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan.

Despite the change in venue that posed slight confusions, finalists in all the categories made it on time for their performance. From classical to contemporary to fusion to hip-hop, participants from across India presented their dance skills across many genres for the enjoyment of audience and the judges.

Jury member and international dancer, Aryan, couldn’t contain his excitement after the show. Speaking to the CityTAB, he said, “It was just an amazing experience being a jury for semifinals and finals. The event brought talent from all over India and gave them a platform like HDPL.

Adding a note on the performances, he said, “It was difficult to judge because all were super talented. My advice to the participants is don’t stop dancing, be yourself you will make it big and reach your dreams. Winning and losing can’t bring you down.”

Other jury members included Sujaritha S, Aryan Rajput, Guntapalli Veda, Ajeesh, Balakrishna and Sumesh VM. The national level competition was organised by ‘Rhythmzz Academy of Dance’, Sainikpuri, to boost the potential of dancers and offer a prospective professional dance career.

“I would like to advice newbies to keep participating in more competitions and keep learning from other dancers too,” said Nitish Kumar, Founder of Rhythmzz Academy of Dance.
