When Ganesh visited Raahgiri Day. With Ganesh Chathurthi round the corner, Raahgiri Day this week was marked with ‘Campaign for Eco Friendly Ganesh Festival’. Navsevak disturbed 800 clay idols and conducted an idol making workshop, which was participated by young and old alike.

With Ganesh Chathurthi round the corner, Raahgiri Day this week was marked with ‘Campaign for Eco Friendly Ganesh Festival’. Navsevak disturbed 800 clay idols and conducted an idol making workshop, which was participated by young and old alike.

The volunteers of Navsevak and Bhagyanaar Vyshya Youth Association walked around the Raahgiri stretch holding placards and created awareness with messages like ‘Clay Ganeshas bring ‘gain’ by not causing ‘pain to environment’, ‘Celebrate Brown Ganesh Festival’ and others.

In addition, the Indian Photography Festival (IPF) created awareness about the forthcoming photography festival that is being organised by Light Craft Foundation along with the Govt. of Telangana, which will have featured exhibitions, seminars, artists’ talks, portfolio reviews, photography workshops, open studios and book launches. Routine activities like cycling, zumba, yoga and painting exhibition continued.
