Rajdhani Bank posts profit of 138.94 lakh

Rajdhani Bank held its 17th annual general body meeting at Hotel Grand Swagath in Ramanthapur on Sunday. Addressing the shareholders, bank chairman Vemireddy Narsimha Reddy stated that the bank will spread its branches throughout Telangana soon.

“The bank achieved 0 per cent NPA(Non- Performing Asset) for the financial year 2014-2015, and at the same time achieved a net profit of Rs 94.61 lakh, a growth rate of 18.09 per cent, with a total turnover of Rs 6421.67 lakh with a growth rate of 24.03 per cent for the financial year 2014-15,” Narsimha Reddy said.

Home minister Naini Narasimha Reddy was the chief guest at the programme. G Rama Murthy , guest of honour , urged the minister to honour demand drafts in the financial transactions of the State Government .

He also requested the government to allow co-operative banks to participate in state government welfare schemes like DWAKRA, Agriculture, Arogyasree etc., so that the banks can withstand on their own. Narasimha Reddy promised that he would review the issues faced by co-operative banks and discuss it with the chief minister.
