Delivering a keynote address on ‘Recent Trends in Chemical Sciences’ at a two-day national seminar at Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana (KBN) College on Friday, he called upon students to focus on research in chemical sciences to revolutionise the way we live.

Speaking on the growth prospects of Andhra Pradesh, he said there was immense scope for setting up of petro, pharmaceutical and textile industries in the State.

Krishna University PG Centre Special Officer MV Basaveswara Rao said research and development of chemical sciences would generate ample job opportunities for youth.

College president U Sambasiva Rao, secretary and correspondent SVSM Rajith Kumar, principal P Krishna Murthy, vice-principal V Narayana Rao, PG Centre director Y Narasimha Rao, junior college principal T Bhagya Kumar, seminar convener G Krishnaveni and other faculty members were present.
