A four-day training programme is being planned with the help of National Cadet Corpse (NCC) to accord training to youth involving fitness trainers for selection in Army, Navy and Airforce, which has large number of vacancies.

The NCC is already campaigning among the youth for joining the defense services. The youth would not only be absorbed in jobs in defense depending upon their qualification but they will have the satisfaction of serving the nation.

Thadikonda MLA Tenali Sravan Kumar is embarking on this programme for his constituency shortly. Talking to The Hans India during an informal chat, Sravan Kumar said that the entire exercise is to train the youth in such a way that they get selected in the physical fitness tests as well as other relevant tests during the recruitment drive.

“The youth who get trained will also be sent for police constables selection. Besides the AP Skill Development Corporation will be invited to the constituency for training youth in the vocations of their choice and for upgrading their job, language and communications skills. Orientation programmes will be conducted for 9th and 10th class students for inspiring them to join the defense forces,” he said.

He also stated that he is also preparing an action plan to bring all the people of his constituency under life insurance cover particularly the unroganised labour. “Efforts are being made to attend to issues relating to Revenue Pattadar Pass Books. Also every family in the constituency will be covered under the Aadhar Scheme aimed at ensureing that every family has the LPG gas connection,” he said.

The MLA is also taking steps to cover the entire households in the constituency under the Swachh Bharath scheme ensuring every household an individual latrine. Panidaram village in Thadikonda mandal will be developed as a model village to show cases it as a village with an integrated development.
