Pop icon of the 90s, Falguni Pathak, famous for her dandiya numbers, will be in action in Hyderabad this Navratri. Falguni will be performing live on October 4 at Imperial Gardens at 7 pm. Falguni is coming back to the city after nearly a decade and will be performing with a 22-member troupe.
Her melodious voice and energetic performances will be backed by the band, ‘Ta Thaiyaa’. She has a strong fan base in the twin cities and so it’s no wonder that 3,000 plus Dandiya enthusiasts are expected to attend the event.
Some of her popular songs include ‘Chudi Jo khanki Haath Mein’, ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankai’, ‘Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye’, ‘Ayi Pardesh Se Pariyon Ki Rani’. The event is being organised by Nimantran, a hospitality venture and the proceeds from it will go to NGO, JCI Hyderabad Royals that aims to empower young people for change.
