Amidst floral shirts, straw hats, flower beads and drinks the food festival offer cheerful music of the mandolins for the ideal beach mood along with heavenly desserts and dishes. Vegetarian varieties like Chidki Midki Bhaji, Alsande Melgoar, non-vegetarian delicacies like Xacuti De Cabrito, Kafrel De Galina and desserts like will Bebinca and Dodol tantalise the tastebuds of foodies.

Speaking on the occasion Vijay Tenneti-General Manager of Hotel Daspalla said, "People in Hyderabad are known to be food lovers and laid back as well. We wanted to serve something different that offers denizens an access to the world famous cuisines.”

The ‘Goan Food Festival’ comes as a complement to the onset of monsoon in the city, adding to the ongoing festivities. Chef Mahendra Tripathi comments, "This is the joyous season and to commemorate it, we have introduced the Goan Food Festival, which features lip smacking delicacies like ‘Recheado De Peix’, toasted prawns, shrimps, fish."

The festival offers more than just food though. The ‘Goa Selfie Zone’ presents customers an opportunity to deck themselves up in special regional attire and click selfies with the themed backdrop. The festival will be on until October 4.
