Live music isn’t just a genre anymore. Metal mania feat Eccentric Pendulum and Paradox Pulse proved it when they performed at Hard Rock Café last recently. The night was all about head bangs, music and fun.

Live music isn’t just a genre anymore. Metal mania feat Eccentric Pendulum and Paradox Pulse proved it when they performed at Hard Rock Café last recently. The night was all about head bangs, music and fun.

The Paradox band consists of five youngsters - Ashok Samuel Varghese (vocalist ), Ricky Raymond (lead guitarist), Mitchell Sheehan (Rhythm guitar), Jonathan Edward (lead guitar) and Rohit Samuel (drummer).

Meanwhile Eccentric Pendulum is a band of four which includes Kaushal (vocalist), Arjun (guitar), Arun (Bass) and Vibhas (drummer).Both the bands relayed their own compositions which boosted the crowd.

The audience swayed to numbers like ‘Eve of Desire’, ‘Equanimity’, ‘Paradox Pulse’, ‘My Eucalyptine Depth’, ‘In Pretense’ and ‘The Axioms of Aphotic’.

“We came together with a mandate to send a message through our music. We realised that our skills and talents are unique and cannot be wasted away in obscurity.

Our inspiration comes from the one above and our passion is fuelled by the need to make quality, meaningful music that leaves you thinking and wanting.

We like experimenting and that is what brought us together,” said Ashok Samuel from the Paradox Pulse.

The Eccentric Pendulum band has earlier toured Europe twice and had already played at Wacken Open Air and SWR Festival, Portugal (alongside Immortal, Candlemass, Asphyx, Hail of Bullets, Gorod, Cerebral Bore and Concealment.

The band has also shared stage with Opeth, Kreator, Meshuggah, Textures, Enslaved, TesseracT, Orphaned Land, Suidakra, Karnivool and Amon Amarth.
