Excerpts from the interview with Habibiz…

Let’s start at the beginning… What’s Habibiz and how did the slang idea work out?

Qader Ali: It all began when we were listening to OB O'Brien’s Schemin’ up Ft. Drake & P Reign and we heard a word “habiziz” in it. We liked it and decided to name our group. Aisich... That’s how it started.

I wouldn’t say we “started” because we have “this” since birth. Well, we are not actors. We are students with free mindset. We do random stuff and make the best out of it.

Amir and Kunal: We are all sons of Hyderabad! And we are proud to be Hyderbadi, so why not do it with our own slang and style.

How difficult is it to make one video? Considering you are students…

Making a video isn’t easy. And, we don’t want to comprise on the quality by producing videos daily. A good video takes us about a week to ten days; writing, shooting, editing and upload.
