Hyderabad: A workshop on English at a government school in a remote village of Rayalapur was held at Zilla Parishad High School, Rayalapur at Ramayampet Mandal in Medak district, Telangana.

The school is known for its distinction to have conducted many such programmes over the last six years. This programme was organised by the school English teacher, R Chandra Sekhar.

M Muthyam Reddy, a renowned teacher in the area with over forty years of experience, attended the programme and spoke on various topics of English grammar.

The programme was also attended by eleven other English teachers from neighbouring schools. The teachers spoke of their difficulties in their day- to- day transaction while dealing with the students in rural areas and subject expert Muthyam Reddy gave his advice in an elaborate manner.

The headmistress of the school, Vijaya Laxmi appreciated the efforts put in by the school English teacher for conducting the programme.

She also added that the workshop motivated the students to take more interest in English and also learnt how easily they could acquire the language.
