Platinum art fest HAS been announced
Ushering in the 75th year of its existence in the city, the Hyderabad Art Society (HAS) announced an annual art festival expected to be held in January 2016.

Ushering in the 75th year of its existence in the city, the Hyderabad Art Society (HAS) announced an annual art festival expected to be held in January 2016.
Entries for the same will be accepted, come November this year. Art enthusiasts can now await with bated breath, a year-long celebration of art, organised by the Society.
HAS, which boasts of being one of the oldest organisations in the country, was established by Nawab Salar Jung in 1941.
All India Art exhibitions organised by HAS have, in the past, paved the road for prominent artists including MF Hussain, Nandanlal Bose, P T Reddy and Kondpalli Seshagiri Rao.
The Society recently elected a panel of members unanimously, with the aim of reviving its past glory. The elected members are now headed by MV Ramana Reddy as the president.
