Sarannavaratri Mahotsavam in Mahakali Temple from today
The Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Devasthanam, Secunderabad, is organising its annual Sri Devi Sarannavarathri Mahotsavam from October 13 to 22.

The Goddess will appear in the nine ‘alankarams’ daily from 6 am to 10 pm that include Balatripurasundari, Gayatri Devi, Annapurna, Gajalakshmi, Rajarajeswari, Bhavani Devi, Saraswati Devi, Durga Devi, Mahisasuramardini Devi and Mahakali Devi.
Founder of the temple Surety Krishna Mudiraj and Executive Officer T Venkatesh said on Monday that Sri Lalitha Sahasranamarchana will be organised daily. The ‘Ammavari Procession’ (Thiruveedhi Seva) will be taken out on October 22 at 4 pm.
They said the Navarathri Alankara Poojas and special programmes will be conducted in the newly constructed three-storeyed Maha Mandapam for the convenience of the devotees and appealed to them to participate in the Mahotsavam in large numbers and seek the blessings of Goddess Mahakali.
