Bathukamma celebrations at curtain raiser of Khwaaish

The curtain raiser for the launch of Khwaaish designer exhibition was held in a joyful way by celebrating the traditional Telangana festival Bathkamma.

The team Khwaaish held the celebrations along with students of a government school in Malkajgiri. "We think that they are the real celebrities as they have to go through many hardships,” members of the team Namita Kanodia, Savita Bansal, Ritu Dalmia, Vanita Kanodia and Archana Dalmia shared.

They said that they support social causes and have adopted schools this time, were they will be taking care of requirements of government schoolchildren.

Khwaaish Exhibition, which will begin on October 16 at Hotel Taj Krishna in Banjara Hills, will feature designers and their creations on ensembles, jewellery, accessories, art, artefacts and shoes.

Patola Sarees from Rajkot would be featured in Hyderabad for the first time. Surbhi Bansal from Jaipur, will be launching her brand at the expo; designer Wajahat Mirza, Neelam Ashley, Zubin Vakil and others will be featured.
