Maruti Suzuki and Radio Mirchi joined hands to address an issue which impacts all road users in the city; general lack of driving sense and blissful ignorance of traffic rules. The objective of the drive, being conducted from October 19 to 27 is to curb willful violation of traffic rules and make driving in the city a safe and pleasant experience for all.

Volunteers at the launch of Maruti Suzuki & Radio Mirchi Traffic School, launched to sensitise road users on traffic rules, on Monday at radio Mirchi Studio, SP Raod, SecunderabadAs part of the initiative the companies have launched a ‘Traffic School’ through which a convoy of branded cars would visit at least ten traffic signals on a daily basis covering important market places, residential colonies, schools and colleges on the way.

There is also a social media connect with the activity where city commuters would be requested to post pictures of commuters following the traffic rules.

One commuter on each of the days who follows the traffic rules would be gratified. The initiative was formally launched by A V Ranganath, DCP, Traffic Hyderabad; Avinash Mohanti, DCP, Traffic Cyberabad and Muneesh Bali, Regional Manager, Maruti Suzuki (AP & TS) on Monday.
