Bose is finally opening up to the power of Bluetooth in the audio segment. A year after it started bringing Bluetooth to its high-end headphones, the company is now upgrading most of its single piece speaker range also to this technology. The company has also launched a new Bluetooth enabled SoundTouch 10 in India at Rs 19,013.

With addition of Bluetooth the existing wireless series gets a revamp, with Soundtouch 20 Series 3 now at Rs 33,638 and the larger Soundtouch 30 Series 3 at Rs 57,263. The speakers will now feature a Bluetooth relay technology that will let users play the same song over multiple devices from the SoundTouch app. SoundTouch 10 is the smallest of the three speakers.

The app will also come with access to over 20,000 Internet radio stations including premium services like as Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio and Deezer which are yet to become available in India. This lets users set six personalised presets to any music service playlist, artist or Internet radio station.

The company also unveiled SoundTouch 520 home theatre system with 5.1 surround system starting at Rs. 110,138. The Soundtouch 120, 130 systems and SA-5 amplifier will meanwhile come with weatherproof speakers. The very popular Bose Wave speakers have also got a SoundTouch update. The company claims SoundTouch connections are stronger and reliable because of the new 802.11n dual-band Wi-Fi. The 5GHz compatibility offers better streaming options.
