The ongoing ‘Brass and Metal Crafts Expo’ at GMC Balayogi Paryatak Bhavan in Begumpet has a divine collection of painstakingly executed pieces reflecting folklores, religious beliefs, cultural ethos and heritage of India.

The exhibition cum sale is organised by the Central Cottage Industries Corporation Ltd (CCICL) and houses divine artefacts like Brass enamel vases, bowls, lamps and statues, Brass- dhokra work figurines and panels, Bidri and Silver Filigree items, which are both traditional and elegantly trendy that add a touch of glamour to your faith. Products are sourced from artisans, master craftsmen, weavers, national awardees, Shilp Gurus and clusters.

The emporium also showcases finest handlooms and handicrafts ranging from exquisite sarees, accessories, paintings, artefacts, metal ware, woodcraft, pottery, stoneware, marble craft, jewellery, craft items and furniture. It is an endeavour to promote Indian handicrafts and handlooms of Brass and metal craft from Moradabad and Delhi, Filigree and Bidri items from Hyderabad. The exhibition is on from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm until October 31.
