The Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) has constructed a three-storeyed guest house for judges admeasuring 9,000 sft at a cost of Rs 1.65 crore. Earlier, the Judicial Academy had parted with 220 sq yards for HMR project and the latter now as a gesture of gratitude has constructed a guest house that can accommodate 20 judges.

Earlier, the Judicial Academy had parted with 220 sq yards for HMR project and the latter now as a gesture of gratitude has constructed a guest house that can accommodate 20 judges.

The guest house was inaugurated on Tuesday by the Acting Chief Justice of the High Court Justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale in the presence of Justice R Subhash Reddy, President of Board of Governors, HMR MD NVS Reddy, members of the Board of Governors, Judicial Academy Justice Raja Elango, Justice Praveen Kumar, Justice MS Ramachandra Rao, Justice A Ramalingeshwar Rao and Director, Judicial Academy M Rajender.

Back in the day, former Chief Justice Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and the Board of Governors of the Judicial Academy had surrendered the front portion of the Judicial Academy and permitted Metro Rail viaduct through its premises.

The viaduct of Corridor III (Nagole - Raidurg) in front of the Judicial Academy has already been completed and it is constructed at a height of 40 feet, parallel to the existing Harihara Kalabhavan flyover. Corridor III portion of the Parade Grounds Metro station is at a height of 55 feet and is in advanced stage of completion. Corridor II (JBS - Falaknuma) viaduct will cross over Corridor III perpendicularly and the flyover at a height of 78 feet.

Corridor II portion of Parade Grounds Metro station which will be started soon will be at a height of 92 feet (platform level). These two portions of Parade Grounds Metro station will be connected with each other with a complex structural engineering design with all facilities for passengers as an interchange between the two corridors.
