Innovative voice rendition, Navaragam Swarayagam
Navaraagam Swarayaagam’ an innovative voice rendition was performed by well known poet, lyricist and actor Chimmapudi Sriramamurthy at Sri Tyagarayagaana Sabha.
Navaraagam Swarayaagam’ an innovative voice rendition was performed by well known poet, lyricist and actor Chimmapudi Sriramamurthy at Sri Tyagarayagaana Sabha.
The rendition was performed as an attempt to qualify for the united world records, star world records, Bharath book of world records, Book of state records, Andhra book records and Telangana book of records.
A total of nine raagas “Kalyani raga”, “Hindhola raga”, “Bhimpalas raga”, “Mohan raga”, “Sivaranjani raga”, “Darbhar Kaanada raga”, “Multhan raga”, “Revathi raga” and “Madya Maavathi raga” were sung in 90 minutes where each of these raagas again were sung in nine different items namely Bhakti Geetam, (devotional song) Sataka Padyam, (Sataka Poem) Jaanapadageetam, (Folk Song) Annamayya Padam, (Annamayya Song) Rangastala Padyam, (Mythological Stage poem) Lalitha Geetam, (Light Music) cinegeetam, (Movie Song) Astapadi and Hari katha.
Justice B Subhashan Reddy, AP and Telangana state Lokayukta, Navin Subhan Reddy, Chairman Naveena educational institutions, actress Radha Prashanthi, Daasari Venkata Ramana, Sahitya Cademy award winner and G V Prabhakar, Director S S Music academy attended the event.
The concept for this voice rendition was designed by Chokkapu Venkataramana, who is famously known as Magic Chaplin.
