Xolo Black 1X set for launch tomorrow

Xolo Black 1X set Xolo has announced that it will be unveiling the second smartphone under its premium 'Black' brand called the Black 1X. The domestic handset manufacturer has confirmed an exclusive Twitter launch of the Xolo Black 1X on Wednesday.

To recall, Xolo back in July had launched its first smartphone under the Black brand, dubbed Xolo Black. It was priced at Rs 12,999 and went on sale exclusively via an e-commerce website. The upcoming Xolo Black 1X is also likely to be available via online channels only.

The handset is likely to run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It will feature a 4.6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. The Xolo Black, in contrast, was powered by a second-generation 64-bit Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) SoC.

The handset is said to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Xolo Black 1X is likely to come with 32GB inbuilt storage with no word on expandable storage support. for launch tomorrow
