Shopping is a woman’s best friend, they say; and coming across a variety of collections would make anyone’s day. Hyderabad Central launched their designer wear collection recently.

The whole collection was based on three themes - ladies ethnic wear, heritage collection and fusion, which had a mix and match of designs. Famous designer wear was showcased including designer Satya Paul’s. The ethnic collection included traditional wear worn for weddings and festivals. Heritage collection had modish and trendy designs added to the ancient designs on outfits.

Graceful and well-designed, the purple coloured lehenga with a gold border gave a traditional look associated with south India. The chiffon sarees had colourful light-weight beads on them. Neeru’s collection had Anarkali sleeveless patterns with a netted full sleeves short jacket to pep up the look.

Fashion brands such as Fusion Beats, Desi Belle and others also displayed their collections at the event. The day was complete with not only fashion but also a wine and cheese party attended by page 3 socialites and well-known film stars and models from the city.
