‘Indian Ocean’ and ace international fusion dance sensation from Czech Republic, Yemi will be performing live at 6.30 pm at JRC Convention in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.

The event is a fundraiser organised by Society to Aid the Hearing Imparied (SAHI) as part of its ‘The Hearing Impaired Girl Child Initiative’. Proceeds from the evening will be used towards sponsoring 50 underprivileged girl children for Cochlear Implants surgery.

This announcement came from Dr EC Vinaya Kumar, Sr Consultant ENT Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals and Secretary, SAHI and Dr Rambabu, Consultant ENT Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals and Medical Director, SAHI on Friday at Apollo Hospitals.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr EC Vinay Kumar said, “The prohibitive cost of treatment often forces parents to make a choice when they have more than one child and they usually choose to use their limited resources for their sons rather than daughters. Helping a hearing impaired girl child through Cochlear Implant Surgery will help her evolve into a respectable citizen.”
