Burger King arrives in Hyd

The world famous fast food restaurant, Burger King launched its first store in the city at Forum Sujana Mall in Kukatpally on Sunday. Commenting on the launch Rajeev Varman, CEO, Burger King India said, “We are excited to open our first restaurant in Hyderabad and look forward to serving our much loved burgers, especially the Whopper, to our guests here.”

The menu for India was tested through research with 3,000 consumers prior to the launch and created accordingly including an extensive vegetarian menu. Speaking on the menu, Rajeev Varman said, “The taste palates though is experimental, mostly people like to savour the taste they are brought up with. That is why we did not carry products from abroad.”

Apart from the flagship Whopper, which is available for Indian consumers in veg, chicken and mutton, the brand has on offer a very unique and tasty Chicken Tandoor Grill burger and Chicken Keema burger, which are a favourites across markets. In addition, Burger King has recently launched its delivery services in India.

Capitalising on online apps, which are finding a huge appetite among urban customer, Burger King has developed a single user-friendly tech enabled platform, to provide current and potential customers faster access to the much loved burgers at the click of a button. With this, Burger King now has 32 outlets across Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Jalandhar.
