Tollywood actress Swasti Semwal inaugurated the ‘Silk India Expo 2015’ at Sri Raja Rajeshwari Gardens in Secunderabad on Wednesday.

The six-day expo is organised by Hastashilpi-Artisans and Weavers Welfare Association. Speaking after the inauguration, Swasti said, “It’s glad to see the apparel, particularly Silk sarees and designer wear showcased under one roof.”

Apoorva silk saris, Baluchuri saris, embroidered silk saris and dress materials, Bhagalpur suits, Karnataka silk saris, Maheshwari, Chanderi silk saris and suit and Kota silk, Mulberry silk with temple border, Banaras jamdani, hand-woven saris are on display. The expo is on till November 9.
