Red Gram counter at Alwal Rythu Bazaar

Finance Minister Etela Rajender inaugurated the red gram sales counter at Alwal Rythu Bazaar on Tuesday. It is available at a subsidy rate of Rs 135 per kg to make the commodity affordable to common man.

Urging people to make use of the opportunity, Etela Rajender said, “Every family can get 1 kg of red gram by producing any identity card, such as Aadhar or Ration Card. They are opening these counters in all the Rythu Bazaars in the twin cities and across the state, till the prices come down to normal rates.” The programme was attended by MLA of Malkajgiri C Kanaka Reddy, civil supplies officials and others.
