Commissioner launches SHE Cabs at airport

The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad CV Anand launched the prepaid service, ‘SHE Cabs’ at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Friday.
The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad CV Anand launched the prepaid service, ‘SHE Cabs’ at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Friday.
Ten cabs have been launched by the joint efforts of Cyberabad Security Council and GMR. Earlier, SHE Cabs was launched by the Transport Department at Hitec City. However, due to the absence of any organised operational model the SHE Cabs owners/drivers approached Cyberabad Traffic Police for support.
Keeping in view the increasing numbers of women travllers, the Cyberabad Traffic Police linked SHE Cabs with the Traffic Police Prepaid Booth at the Airport.
The cabs will be servicing solo women travellers and women accompanied by family members.
