EduRobo conducts robotics camp for children

Around 200 kids in the age group of 6-15 years attended the robotics camp organised by city-based training startup, EduRobo at the Singada Kunta slum near Banjara Hills on Children’s Day.

As part of the camp, kids were introduced to various elements of Electronics and Robotics that would help them develop an eye for problem solving and improve time management skills. Kids were introduced to humanoid robot, music bot, gesture based robots and programmable robots.

P Srujana, Chief Technology Officer, EduRobo said, “It was great to note that the children from these underprivileged sections were equally excited to participate in the camp to learn robotics.

Understanding Electronic and Robotics is fast becoming an important parameter in the Indian education system. It is a proven fact that Robotics also helps improves peer-bonding and social competencies besides reading, writing and presentation skills; and this will help in preparing better individuals for the future.”
