I extremely like the way The Hans India presents the news, the unbiased Editorials that analyse the complex things in country. Investigating reports into local corruption issues (like today's ‘Sand mining poses threat to Kakatiya bridge,’ and some days back ‘CCI cheating in cotton purchases’ etc) are of great quality and highly praiseworthy. Recent Editorial "Whither celebration of secularism" also truly picturises the narrow-minded political games being played by the political parties in our country (in guise of occupying power seats, winning vote shares etc, it may be BJP, MIM, or caste politics in Bihar by local parties etc).

As the Editorial said there is an urgent need to guard secularism and democracy in our plural society with constructive politics. Otherwise we see unnecessary conflicts being raised by ruling or opposite parties to capture vote banks, bringing divisiveness in our country. Latest political destructive drama we are seeing is in Karnataka about Tipu Sultan Jayanti, and renaming of Bangalore airport after him. Instead, the government can propagate thoughts of great engineer and freedom fighter Mokshagundam Visweswaraiah for building a strong India. Karnataka can hold his Jayanti and name the domestic airport in his honour.

With the recent launch of Rajahmundry edition in AP before Diwali, I wish The Hans India will grow to a national level soon. A small request. The Hans India needs to penetrate into all sections of people. I think City Central Library or State libraries, private libraries in colonies, colony welfare associations, their issues etc in Hyderabad need to be covered.
